CNBC Beats MSNBC At 8pm

MSNBC fell to fifth place on Monday night, as CNBC’s lagging primetime managed to beat the network at 8pm. Headline News is now the #3 cable news net during the time slot, thanks to Nancy Grace, and a repeat airing of the ‘Contender’ on CNBC beat MSNBC’s ‘Countdown.’ (Keith Olbermann was on vacation, and Alison Stewart substituted last night.) CNBC’s Contender averaged 337,000 viewers and 164,000 in the demo, while Countdown averaged 321,000 viewers, including 101,000 in the demo.
