‘Fox & Friends’ AP To Keep His Job

Chris White, the associate producer who assembled a 4-minute long video highly critical of the Obama administration for “Fox & Friends” Wednesday morning, will keep his job at Fox News.

White, who has worked at Fox News for several years, was telling friends and colleagues about a job offer he’d received from CNN, but which was reportedly rescinded after the blow-up over the video.

“Chris White will remain employed with FOX News,” says Bill Shine, Fox News EVP of programming. “We’ve addressed the video with the producers and are not going to discuss the internal workings of our programming any further.”

Wednesday afternoon, following a barrage of criticism that Fox was allowing such politically one-sided material on air, Shine said the video “was not authorized at the senior executive level of the network,” and added the incident “has been addressed with the show’s producers.”
