It’s been a big 2018 for CNN’s Chris Cuomo. His first prime time show, aptly named Cuomo Prime Time, launched on June 4.

Today, SiriusXM announced that Cuomo will host a two-hour weekday program on the SiriusXM P.O.T.U.S. channel 124, named Let’s Get After It with Chris Cuomo.

As you might have guessed, P.O.T.U.S. (Politics of the United States) is a SiriusXM Radio channel featuring political talk radio.

Let’s Get After It will premiere this coming Monday at 12 p.m. ET, and will air on weekdays from Noon – 2 p.m. ET. His CNN program Cuomo Prime Time will continue to air weeknights on CNN from 9 – 10 p.m. ET, which is simulcast on SiriusXM channel 116.

“Let’s Get After It,” is a nod to Cuomo’s catch phrase on his CNN show.

“Chris is a remarkable journalist, with a history of tough interviews that have everyone talking the next day,” Megan Liberman, svp of news, talk and entertainment at SiriusXM said in a statement. “On his new SiriusXM show, Chris will continue that tradition of fostering important, engaging conversations, while also giving listeners the bigger picture about what’s going on in Washington and beyond.”

In addition to spirited conversations with listeners and newsmakers, the show will also provide Cuomo with the platform to open up about his passions in everyday life, from family to fitness to fishing.

“The opportunity to deal with listeners directly about the biggest news stories and to share different sides of my personality and outside interests for two hours a day on SiriusXM – and then have Cuomo Prime Time ready to go at 9:00 p.m. EST? – wow! Dream come true! #LetsGetAfterIt,” added Cuomo.

Cuomo will join fellow CNN host Michael Smerconish on the channel. The Michael Smerconish Program airs on channel 124 on weekdays from 9 a.m. – Noon ET, and will serve as the lead in to Cuomo’s new show.
