CBS This Morning co-host Charlie Rose thanked his colleagues as he received the ICFJ Founders Award for Excellence in Journalism Monday night.

“You know and I know, the guests don’t just show up,” Rose said. “The pictures don’t just arrive. And the research doesn’t blow in on the wind. It comes from hardworking people who share your passion and share your journey. And they continue to share my journey, and my achievements, and also my dreams. Especially my dreams.”

Of his CTM co-hosts, Norah O’Donnell and Gayle King, Rose said “they have kept me alert, they have kept me laughing, and they have kept me honest,” and he described their show as “the best show on morning television and one of the best shows in the industry.”
