During TNT’s NBA coverage last night, Charles Barkley took CNN to the woodshed for its coverage of the 2016 primaries.
“To be honest with you, CNN has done an awful job this election. An awful job,” Barkley began. “I love CNN because they’re part of our company, but they’ve been kissing butt, chasing ratings. They’ve become like Fox News for the Republicans, to be honest with you. They follow every single soundbite to just get ratings for these debates. And it’s sad and frustrating that our company has sold their soul for ratings.”
CNN and TNT are both part of Turner Broadcasting.
Barkley, who once considered running for governor of Alabama, says he’s never voted for a Republican, but is supporting Ohio Gov. John Kasich this year.
