Benedict Cumberbatch, John Leguizamo, Taye Diggs, Christina Hendricks, Morgan Spurlock, Questlove, Kelly Ripa and Kathy Griffin are among the celebrities presenting at “CNN Heroes: An All-Star Tribute,” hosted by Anderson Cooper.
Each celebrity presenter will join one of the Top Ten CNN Heroes on stage to share their inspirational story. The event takes place Tuesday night at the American Museum of Natural History in New York and airs Sunday, December 7, at 8pm ET.
Quvenzhané Wallis and Nick Jonas will also be on hand to recognize youths who are being honored by CNN as Young Wonders. This year’s program also features live performances by Trisha Yearwood and Sheryl Crow.
Now in its eighth year, the Peabody Award-winning, Emmy-nominated “CNN Heroes: An All Star Tribute” has received more than 50,000 nominations from more than 100 countries and profiled over 200 everyday heroes doing extraordinary work.
The 2014 CNN Hero of the Year will be announced during the celebration.
