Not only was CBS Sunday Morning the most-watched Sunday morning program this TV season, the Charles Osgood show had its best delivery since the advent of people meters in 1987. Sunday Morning averaged 6.06 million viewers for the 2014-2015 season, up +1 percent in viewers over the 2013-2014 season. Needless to say Sunday Morning also won May Sweeps, averaging 5.75 million viewers, as well as Sunday, May 17 with 5.86 million. Last Sunday’s show included Jane Pauley‘s two-part interview with David Letterman.
Sunday Morning’s 6.06 million viewer average will top all three weekday morning shows for the season. We’ll know by how much when those numbers are released next week.
