Chris Martinez has been announced as a correspondent for CBS Newspath. Martinez will be based in Los Angeles and is expected to start working on May 4.
CBS Newspath is a 24-hour TV newsgathering service for CBS stations and broadcasters. Martinez comes to Newspath from Chicago’s CBS affiliate, WBBM, where he was a general assignment reporter and fill-in anchor. Martinez has also worked in Tampa, Tallahassee and Georgia, often covering high-profile cases including the disappearance of Caylee Anthony and the shooting death of Trayvon Martin.
