CBS Newsers, Even Some in Nepal, Gather For Town Hall

At a staff town hall meeting at CBS News today, News president David Rhodes discussed plans for Campaign 2016, gave an update on CBSN, and reiterated the importance of the not-just-a-slogan “More Real News.”

Insiders who were there, tell TVNewser Rhodes announced new promos will begin airing tomorrow that will highlight the news division’s core values: honesty, integrity and accountability.

Reporters, producers and anchors, among others, from around the world participated in the Q&A portion of the event, including CBS This Morning anchors Gayle King and Norah O’Donnell in New York, and correspondents Don Dahler, Vladimir Duthiers, Michelle Miller, Elaine Quijano and Anna Werner.

A CBS News team covering the aftermath of the deadly earthquake in Nepal, also participated in the town hall via phone.
