CBS News producer Ahmad Mukhtar was at American University in Afghanistan this evening when it came under attack by Taliban fighters. Mukthar is also a student at the University in Kabul.
He called into CBSN this afternoon. “We got ourselves to the backside of the University where we escaped. While we were escaping we could still hear the gunshots and as we were trying to escape the gunshots were getting closer and closer to us,” Mukthar said.
