CBS Just Did Something That Has Never Been Done Before

Two CBS News programs were among the Top 10 shows on broadcast TV last week: Saturday’s GOP debate was the third most-watched and Sunday’s 60 Minutes was No. 7.

But CBS did something else last week, that no network has done in the 10 years (since Dec. 2005) that Nielsen has been tracking Live + same day data. CBS had all of the top 10 programs among total viewers in a single week. The network also won the week in the A18-49 and A25-54 demos for the second consecutive week. CBS will have another big week this week which kicked off with the Grammy Awards Monday night and was watched by 25 million viewers.
