“The ratings picture is getting worse for CBS’ Evening News With Katie Couric,” today’s NY Daily News says.
“Based on an analysis of the ratings for the 2006-2007 season… the Evening News has lost ground compared with the year before. Most of the decline has come among men aged 25 to 54 (off 11%) and adults older than 55 (10%).
The only audience segment to increase for CBS’ newscast was women aged 18 to 49, a slice of the audience that has grown 6% over the previous year during Couric’s tenure.”
