CBS News is adding two consultants to its roster: “Renowned historian and author Douglas Brinkley and former Central Intelligence Agency veteran John Brennan.” According to the press release, “Brinkley will focus on issues surrounding the Presidency and politics and Brennan will focus on international terrorism and security issues.”
Brinkley’s recent books include “Tour of Duty” (about John Kerry and the Vietnam War) and “The Great Deluge” (about Hurricane Katrina). Brennan was the Interim Director of the National Counterterrorism Center before retiring from the CIA last year…
