CBS’ Full Slate For MLK Anniversary

CBS begins a day of Martin Luther King, Jr.-related coverage on the 40th anniversary of his death, with reports on The Early Show, the Evening News and through the weekend.

The Early Show features a roundtable discussion with Jesse Jackson, Martin Luther King, III and others on the issue of King’s legacy.

On the Evening News, correspondent Dean Reynolds examines race in the 2008 presidential election, Bill Whitaker visits Memphis, where MLK was killed, and Mark Strassmann speaks with Raphael Warnock, the current pastor at Ebenezer Baptist Church in Atlanta.
