Phoenix-Based Anchor Lindsey Reiser Is Joining MSNBC as a Weekend Anchor

Phoenix-based anchor Lindsey Reiser is taking her broadcasting talents to the national level. MSNBC to be exact. NBCU’s politics-focused cable network has signed Reiser as a weekend anchor.

Reiser is presently weekend anchor for Meredith-owned Arizona’s Family. Reiser will deliver her final sign-off on Arizona’s Family (comprised of 3TV and CBS 5) this coming Sunday.  She will join MSNBC in the new year, with timeslot details TBA.

Reiser has earned a number of Emmy nominations for her reporting, as well as a Society of Professional Journalists Mark of Excellence Award, Hearst Journalist Award and several National Broadcast Education Association Awards. Before anchoring and reporting in Arizona, Reiser covered border and immigration issues in El Paso, Texas where she also investigated public corruption, uncovered poor business practices and routinely reported on the violence across the border.
