During overnight after-the-vote coverage of the Canadian elections, the CBC went old school to show how the vote broke down among the four leading parties: the liberals, the conservatives, the NDP and the greens. The CBC talked with Dave Meslin, who speaks on issues of democracy and who used Legos to show how the national vote should reflect–but proabably won’t–via a proportional system the make up of the new Canadian parliament. Plus it’s Legos!
To be fair, the CBC used the traditional pie charts and bar graphs throughout the night, but as far as we could tell, no holograms. WATCH:

Update: Word from up north is that the CBC sort of used holograms, in the form of a virtual House of Commons. That’s a beauty way to go!
