neil cavuto_304x200In a Q+A with Inside Jersey, Fox News and Fox Business anchor Neil Cavuto weighs in on the progression of TV news from what he watched as a kid to today’s “ubiquitous” 24-hour news cycle, which he calls “a whole new ballgame.” Cavuto, a cancer survivor who has MS, also talks about his health:

The least I can do is not bitch and moan about it. There are people dealing with far more. So that, in a way, has made me a better person and better at dealing with people, because I care a little bit more. I’m not always interested in the bottom line. I’m interested in people. Sometimes life doesn’t give you much of a choice. You can’t just stop what you’re doing. I take some comfort in doctors looking at MRIs and wondering how I’m doing what I’m doing. Maybe I’m lucky, or maybe my time will come. But no matter what you do in life, you have to respect the fragility of life. Enjoy the good things in life, but don’t think they’re a guarantee.
