The 90’s sitcom “Murphy Brown” was a groundbreaking series for a number of reasons. Among other things, in taking viewers behind the scenes of a dysfunctional TV newsroom, it humanized the people behind the news in a way no scripted TV series really had before.
One of the stars of the show was Brown’s neurotic young executive producer Miles Silverberg. The actor who played Silverberg in the sitcom, Grant Shaud, spoke to FishbowlNY at the TV Land Awards this weekend.
