CNBC has announced that Squawk on the Street co-anchor Carl Quintanilla, Squawk Box co-anchor Becky Quick and chief Washington correspondent John Harwood will moderate the network’s The Republican Presidential Debate on Wednesday, Oct. 28 at the University of Colorado, Boulder.
CNBC personalities Rick Santelli, Sharon Epperson and Jim Cramer will also have a role in the debate, asking the candidates questions on major policy issues. Eamon Javers and Jane Wells will report live from the Coors Event Center throughout the business day, while a special edition of Closing Bell will be anchored by Kelly Evans at 3 p.m. ET.

Joe Kernen and Evans will anchor special programming beginning at 5 p.m. ET before heading to the Spin Room, where they will offer instant analysis and reaction following the debate. CNBC.com will feature a live blog of the debate with both pre and post-debate coverage and the network also plans extensive social media coverage with the hashtag #CNBCgopdebate.
