CNN’s Candy Crowley will moderate a debate between the candidates for U.S. senate in Virginia, George Allen and Tim Kaine, on July 21.
The debate will be held at the Virginia Bar Association’s statewide meeting. The organization said in a statement they were “absolutely thrilled to attract a national media representative — and someone of Ms. Crowley’s caliber — to moderate.”
Portions of the debate will air on “State of the Union,” the public affairs show Crowley anchors for CNN, on Sunday, July 22.
