Cablers on Kennedy Watch

The cable news channels went wall-to-wall with the release from the hospital of Sen. Ted Kennedy. NBC’s Anne Thompson was live on MSNBC providing voice over of the Sen. as his SUV pulled away from the hospital with Thompson nearby saying “Hello Senator.” Fox News, which like CNN and MSNBC had cameras trained on the front of Mass General, had gone to commercial when Sen. Kennedy emerged from the hospital. When they came back from break he was already in the SUV and on his way.
