Cablers Cover Joint U.S.-Chile Presidential Press Conference

This afternoon President Barack Obama and Chile’s President Sebastián Piñera held a joint news conference in Santiago, Chile.

The big three cable news channels all covered the presser, which kicked off shortly before 2:30 PM.


The first question came from a Chilean journalist, who asked whether the U.S. would cooperate with investigators into some of the atrocities committed by U.S. allies in Latin America in the 20th century.

The second question came from a U.S. journalist, who asked about Libya.

The third question was also about Libya.
