Cable Ranker: Week of June 2

With a week heavy in political coverage, including the final primary night of the season, all three networks had good showings in last week’s cable ranker. Fox News Channel was again the top cable news channel in prime time, finishing in fifth place. CNN finished 7th and MSNBC 19th (Live+SD).

In total day, FNC was 8th, CNN 11th and MSNBC 27th.

CNN dominated the weekly program ranker, however, with the 10pmET hour on Tuesday night finishing in fourth place (a combination of CNN Election Center and Anderson Cooper 360). The 9pmET hour of CNN Election Center finished 18th for the week, with no FNC or MSNBC programs in the top 20.
