Cable News Networks Cover Pres. Obama Ukraine Announcement

Cable news networks pivoted this afternoon to President Obama speaking on the tumultuous situation involving Ukraine and Russia, as armed men believed to be sent by Russian President Vladamir Putin have taken over two airports in Crimea.

>More: President Obama spoke for just under three minutes, saying he is deeply concerned by reports of Russia’s military making movements inside Ukraine, and that the U.S. will stand with the international community against military intervention in Ukraine.

>Update: MSNBC aired an incorrect map that placed Czechoslovakia next to Ukraine. Problem is, that country hasn’t existed since the early 90’s.
