Cable Network Ranker: Week of May 28

Fox News was the top cable news outlet for the holiday week of May 28, placing sixth in primetime among the ad-supported cable networks with 1.561M viewers and eighth in total day with 966,000 viewers.

MSNBC placed 31st in primetime and 34th in total day, averaging 602,000 viewers and 354,000 viewers, respectively. CNN placed 36th in primetime with 440,000 viewers and 35th in total day with 309,000 viewers.

As for the business networks: CNBC placed 53th in primetime with 198,000 viewers and 57th in total day with 128,000 viewers. FBN placed 86th in primetime and 87th in total day, drawing 61,000 and 46,000 viewers, respectively. Bloomberg TV has not been rated by Nielsen since it launched in 1994.

Current TV fared even worse, placing 93rd in primetime and 95th in total day, drawing just 25,000 and 24,000 viewers, respectively.
