Cable Network Ranker: Week of June 13

By Alex Weprin

Fox News Channel remained the top cable news channel on the list of the top 40 cable networks, though HLN and CNN were the only networks to improve week-to-week.

FNC placed 4th overall in primetime with 1.72 million viewers and 8th in total day with 969,000 viewers. That is down one slot in each category from last week, due largely to new episodes of hit shows on USA Network, History and TNT.

HLN continues to do well with its Casey Anthony trial coverage, placing 17th overall in primetime and 18th in total day with 1.06 million viewers and 634,000 viewers, respectively. That is up from 19th and 22nd last week.
