Cable Network Ranker: Week of January 6

Fox News was the top cable news network for the first full week of 2014, placing sixth in primetime and fifth in total day among all ad-supported cable networks. FNC averaged 1,720,000 primetime viewers and 1,138,000 total day viewers.

MSNBC placed 27th in primetime, with 724,000 viewers, and 28th in total day, with 422,000 viewers. CNN placed 41st in primetime and 35th in total day, averaging 399,000 and 317,000 viewers, respectively.

ESPN was the number one ad-supported cable network for the week in primetime. USA, the History Channel, TNT and TBS rounded out the top five. The full ranker is after the jump.
