Cable Network Ranker: October 2013

Helped along by the government shutdown and the debut of a new primetime lineup, Fox News placed third in primetime and fourth in total day among all ad-supported cable networks for the month of October. FNC averaged 1,862,000 viewers in primetime and 1,143,000 viewers in total day.

MSNBC placed 22nd in primetime, with 795,000 viewers, and 19th in total day, with 491,000 viewers. CNN placed 33rd in primetime and 26th in total day, averaging 576,000 and 441,000 viewers, respectively.

TBS, ESPN, USA and AMC rounded out the top five cable networks for the month. The full ranker is after the jump.
