May is one of the biggest TV months of the year, and it also happened to be a big news month too. That said, May Sweeps definitely had an effect on the cable network ranker.
Fox News remained the top cable news channel, placing 3rd in primetime among ad-supported cable networks in primetime, and fourth among all cable channels. CNN was 26th among all cable channels in primetime while MSNBC placed 33rd.
