Cable Network Ranker: Fox Biz Cracks Top 5

WebFox News Channel was No. 2 in prime time and No. 1 in total day viewers among all ad-supported cable networks for the week of November 9. FNC averaged 2.32 million viewers between 8-11 p.m. ET, behind only ESPN’s NFL-heavy content. Fox Business Network jumped all the way to No. 4 in prime time, after drawing 13.5 million for the GOP debate.

FBN finished No. 20 in total day, one spot ahead of MSNBC. FBN’s rival business network CNBC ranked No. 47 in prime time and No. 51 in total day, but did jump to No. 3 in prime time when it hosted a GOP debate earlier this month. CNN finished No. 16 in prime time and No. 10 in total day, while MSNBC ranked No. 22 in prime time and No. 21 in total day. HLN finished No. 51 in prime time and No. 33 in total viewers.

Hallmark and AMC join FBN, Fox News and ESPN among the Top 5 prime time networks.

CNBC has discontinued using Nielsen, in favor of Cogent, to measure daytime audience.
