Brokaw Becomes A Hall of Famer

Gail Shister reports: “Tom Brokaw doesn’t feel old enough to be a hall of famer.

‘I don’t think you think of yourself as being of that age,’ says NBC’s Brokaw, 66, who last week was inducted into the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences’ Hall of Fame in L.A.

‘You have to stop and calibrate your years in this business. [He has 44.] It doesn’t make me feel old. For our generation, there’s something called ‘the new old.’ It means at 66, you play at about 52 or 53.'” More…
