This week on “Nightly News,” Brian Williams had a special message for some faraway viewers of NBC News. During a segment about a house in Australia decorated for the holidays with a half million Christmas lights, Williams said: “Since we have reason to believe our friends on the International Space Station are watching this broadcast, if you guys ever take requests, can you please take a photo of this house from space?”
The following day, Williams got a response from one of the astronauts via Twitter:

Williams noted on “Nightly” that the ISS flew over Australia this week, “so our hopes are high.”
