Brian Steel Staying at CNBC

By Brian Flood

TVNewser has learned that CNBC svp of PR Brian Steel will stay at the network, despite an announcement that he was leaving only two weeks ago. Back on August 27, CNBC chairman Mark Hoffman said Steel “is leaving to take on a challenging new position that will be announced in the coming days.” We have now confirmed this is no longer true.

Steel joined CNBC in 2007 from Citigroup. Before that he held multiple positions with the U.S Department of Justice. He has now committed to stay at CNBC for multiple years.
