Bret Baier And Megyn Kelly To Lead Fox News Channel’s RNC Coverage

By Alex Weprin

Fox News has announced its coverage plans for the RNC. Special primetime coverage will run each night from 10-11:30 PM, anchored by Bret Baier and Megyn Kelly, who will also kick things off with a primtime special at 9 PM on Sunday. Bill O’Reilly and Sean Hannity will continue to anchor their respective programs at 8 and 9 PM, respectively, while “On the Record with Greta Van Susteren” will move to 11:30 PM, ending at 1 AM.

Dayside programming will stay the same, though some of the shows will originate from Tampa. Chris Wallace will anchor “Fox News Sunday” from Tampa the Sunday before the convention.

Online, FNC will have original online programming during the day, with Jenna Lee anchoring in primetime, and Jonathan Hunt providing additional reportage, for viewers who would rather watch the conventions than Hannity or O’Reilly.

DNC coverage hasn’t been announced, but will likely look very similar.
