Bloomberg GO anchor Stephanie Ruhle marked “Back to the Future Day” on the network’s recently-launched morning show with a “live market update” from October 21, 1985.
Wearing “vintage” clothes and standing next to a 1980’s-era Bloomberg terminal (the iconic terminal debuted in 1982), Ruhle reported the “latest” figures on unemployment, household income, and the markets:
Elsewhere, the morning show references to Back to the Future were everywhere, with NBC’s Today reuniting cast members Michael J. Fox, Christopher Lloyd and Lea Thompson. Today also had the time-traveling DeLorean on the plaza outside:
