Representatives from all three business cable news channels appeared on a panel at the Broadcast Business Journalism workshop, last week in New York City. CNBC correspondent Scott Cohn, FBN correspondent Shibani Joshi and Bloomberg managing editor John Meehan shared the stage.
BusinessJournalism.org’s Andrew Leckey writes about the event, in which, “rivalries in business coverage were discussed.”
“Cohn maintained that providing aggressive coverage is the best competitive edge, while Meehan made the point that any top quality reporter can be trained to cover business,” writes Leckey.
Leckey also paraphrased Joshi, who said that FBN, “is evolving and growing each day through the hands-on direction of its top executives.”
