BIO Channel is bringing back the interview series “Aftermath with William Shatner” July 5. The series has Shatner interviewing ordinary people who were thrust into the spotlight.
Among the interviewees for the upcoming season: Pentagon Papers reporter Daniel Ellsberg, Ed Smart, the father of Elizabeth Smart, “Baby Jessica'”s parents, one of the men who rescued the Chilean miners last year and Jeffrey Wigand, the man whose appearance on “60 Minutes” transformed the tobacco industry.
Shatner may not be a journalist, but that hasn’t stopped him and his program from making news. Last year an interview he conducted by phone with the DC snipers forced authorities to re-open the case after they said they had two other accomplices.
