Bill O’Reilly Returns to ‘The View’ and ‘The Daily Show’

Yesterday Fox News host Bill O’Reilly made a pair of high-profile media appearances to promote his new book Killing Lincoln. O’Reilly returned to “The View,” his first appearance on the program since the infamous walkout last October. To ensure it wouldn’t happen again, co-host Whoopi Goldberg literally buckled herself into her seat before the interview. It ended up being a fairly cordial, if occasionally heated, interview. One of the things O’Reilly addressed was his comments earlier this month that he “has more power than anybody other than the President.”

Then yesterday evening, O’Reilly returned to one of his favorite stomping grounds: “The Daily Show with Jon Stewart,” where they talked about just about everything in an extended interview, including O’Reilly’s threat to quit if President Obama’s tax plan passes:
