Bill O’Reilly Preps For ‘The Most Important Interview of My Life’

Variety’s Brian Steinberg talks with Bill O’Reilly ahead of O’Reilly’s Super Bowl Sunday interview with Pres. Trump.

“I would say it’s the most important interview of my life,” said cable news’s most-watched personality. “There is so much happening and so much controversy and so many things in play. I need to get to the heart of the matter, and I will.”

O’Reilly interviewed Pres. Obama twice when Fox carried the Super Bowls in 2011 and 2014.

O’Reilly and Trump will tape the interview Friday at the White House. It will air on Fox around 4:30 p.m. ET Sunday, with extended portions airing on The O’Reilly Factor Monday night. FoxNews.com will have the complete interview later Monday.

“What the President says is what he says, and after that, it will be verified,” O’Reilly said, adding, “I’m not a fact-checking machine. My job is to do questions that draw him out into very important areas.”
