Adweek headed over to Fox News a couple weeks ago to get an inside look at the still-under-construction newsroom and studio space. The multi-million dollar investment at the leading TV news channel took staffers from a 20-year-old window-less basement newsroom, to a light-filled integrated space on the second and third floors, where producers and editors from Fox News TV, radio, digital and local news services work side by side.
Here, America’s Newsroom host Bill Hemmer takes us on a tour of the space, as Warren Vandeveer, evp of technical operations and engineering and Peter Blangiforti, svp of broadcast and media technology tell us what went into the massive makeover.
