Big Idea’s Slow & Steady Ratings Rise

CNBC asks: “What happens when a creative, accomplished and fast-thinking media mogul is given his own provocative talk show?”

And CNBC answers: “Big ratings, that’s what.”

Well, compared to February, anyway.

“CNBC’s The Big Idea with Donny Deutsch has had its best month ever, October, with ratings up 92% in total viewers and 107% with adults 25-54, the demographic most desired by advertisers, since February 2005,” a press release says.

The numbers are still relatively small — 146,000 in October vs. 76,000 in February in P2+; 93,000 in October vs. 45,000 in Feburary in 25-54; but they’re increasing. Here’s the rest…
