Bianna Golodryga is joining CNN full-time as a senior global affairs analyst, effective today.

Golodryga had already spent two years at CNN in a part-time contributor role before receiving this promotion.

Golodryga joined ABC News in 2007 as a business and finance correspondent, and was promoted to co-anchor of Good Morning America Weekend in 2010, a role she held until 2014. She left ABC for Yahoo News in 2014, where she was the news and finance anchor. In addition to working at Yahoo, Golodryga occasionally joined the Morning Joe panel as a contributor and guest co-host.

Golodryga went on to join CBS News as full-time New York-based correspondent in September 2017, and her first assignment at the network was reporting from her hometown of Houston, covering the aftermath of Hurricane Harvey. Golodryga filled in for Gayle King and Norah O’Donnell on a number of occasions before being named co-host of CBS This Morning on a permanent basis in October 2018.

Fewer than six months later, she departed.

Golodryga has worked in national television news since 2001, starting out as a CNBC producer.
