The CEO of Glenn Beck‘s The Blaze, Betsy Morgan, is leaving the company after four years. Re/code reports Kraig Kitchin, the company’s chief revenue officer, will take over as CEO on an interim basis:

In a memo to the site’s staff, Morgan said that in the last 6 months “we found ourselves on a rough sea, but stayed true to our course.”

In April, we reported The Blaze had hired Bill McCandless as svp, video strategy. McCandless said at the time Morgan was one of the people who drew him to the job.
“I am excited to join the company and work with great leaders like Glenn Beck and Betsy who have always challenged the status quo in media with great success,” McCandless said.
