By Jason Lynch

Fox News was No. 1 across basic cable for the pre-Labor Day week of Aug. 27. That’s in total viewers, both in prime time (14 consecutive weeks) and across the 24-hour day (34 consecutive weeks).

The network also regained the prime time demo lead it had lost to CNN the previous week, with 404,000 viewers in A25-54 demo compared to MSNBC’s 334,000 and CNN’s 331,000, according to Nielsen live-plus-same-day data. It also was No. 1 in total day in the demo, with 235,000 to CNN’s 219,000 and MSNBC’s 204,0000.

FNC claimed seven of the top 15 cable telecasts overall in total viewers last week, including four telecasts of Hannity (which took the top three spots), two Tucker Carlson Tonights and one The Ingraham Angle.
