At NBC, Versatility is the Word

By Chris Ariens

ICN noticed MSNBC’s Chris Jansing filling in on WNBC’s morning newscast this morning. So, some questions:

• Is the fill-in a convenient use of resources, considering only four floors separate MSNBC’s and WNBC’s newsrooms?

• Is Jansing looking to get back to local news? (She joined MSNBC, afterall, from an anchor gig in Albany.)

• Is this 2.0 at its finest? (Jansing was a fill-in NBC News correspondent in the Burbank bureau late last year, before returning to anchoring on the cable channel.)

Now, if Jansing ends up on NBC WeatherPlus, TVNewser will really be impressed…
