Ashleigh Banfield Wins the GMA Co-Anchor-Off

By Chris Ariens

In the final round of voting in our “Good Morning America” co-anchor-off, truTV’s Ashleigh Banfield pulls off a stunning upset over CNBC’s Suze Orman who lead in the three prior rounds of voting. Orman reached out to her sizable financial following, including her 756,135 Twitter followers. But she was a bit perplexed when we ran into her at Joy Behar’s party Wednesday night. Orman was leading in round four right up until Wednesday morning. But by Wednesday night, Banfield was far out front, and never looked back.

Of course, this is all meaningless, unless Banfield gets a meeting with ABC News president David Westin. We’ll let you know if that happens.
