As Evan Bayh Jumps Back in to Politics, His Fox Contract Is Suspended

Evan Bayh, the popular former governor and two-term Senator from Indiana is planning a late-stage run for senate in November.

Bayh was the democratic nominee in 2010, but decided to leave the senate when his term expired in 2011. He later joined Fox News as an analyst. Fox tells us that his contributor contract has been suspended as he runs for office.

Fox News also put a hold on the contracts of Newt Gingrich and Rick Santorum in 2011 when it became clear they were running for the 2012 GOP presidential nomination.
