As Fox News chairman Roger Ailes demanded an apology for Donald Trump‘s “unprovoked attack on Megyn Kelly” during Kelly’s show Monday night, the Republican presidential frontrunner was talking to Howard Stern–and praising Ailes.
“Roger Ailes is an amazing guy,” Trump said. “Fox has been fine. They’ve been very fair.”
Trump–seemingly unafraid to say just about anything at any time–was unwilling, however, to talk about Kelly. “He doesn’t want to get into that,” Stern was told before taking Trump’s call on Sirius XM radio.

Last week, Stern denied a report in New York Magazine that he’d called Trump to gossip about Kelly after the Republican presidential debate.
