April #’s: CNN Up Double Digits Every Single Hour In 25-54 Demo

The tragedy at Virginia Tech boosted cable news ratings across the board in April.

On CNN, “every hour from 6a through midnight” was “up double-digits in the P25-54 demo.”

The 11am edition of CNN Newsroom was up the most (96 percent), predominately because of the mass shootings.

Also showing major growth: “The Situation Room at 4p (up 77%) at 5p (up 44%) and at 7p (up 46%), Lou Dobbs Tonight (up 37%), Paula Zahn Now (up 76%), Larry King Live (up 49%) and Anderson Cooper 360 (up 83% at 10p).”
