Since The Apprentice, Jarvis has been a Chicago-based freelance financial journalists. She has written for Business 2.0 and Crain’s Chicago Business.

(Oh, and at the age of 16, Jarvis was an on-air reporter for three years on “Whatever,” a weekly teen program on KARE, the NBC affiliate in Minneapolis.)

The press release says: “As an associate reporter, Jarvis will work with every department at CNBC, including the assignment desk, video editing and graphic art, as well as accompany CNBC reporters in the field, and develop and report her own stories.”
